When we think of Pamela Anderson, many of us immediately picture her iconic smoky eye, thin 90s brows, and lined lips that graced countless magazine covers of that era. However, times have changed.
The Baywatch star appears to have evolved her look in recent years, and along with it, the brand she has been associated with for so long.
It was during Paris Fashion Week two years ago that she unveiled her fresh-faced appearance, leaving many people surprised.
At the Isabel Marant show during Paris Fashion Week on 28 September, Anderson appeared with a radiant and natural look, dressed in a sleeveless yellow gown and a pair of wrap-around nude heels.

Frankly, she looked absolutely stunning. While whether women wear makeup to public events shouldn’t be a major issue, her appearance caused quite a stir online.
People immediately questioned why she chose to attend such a significant event without makeup, while others praised her decision to express herself freely.
Recently, she made an appearance at the Met Gala, wearing minimal makeup and sporting baby bangs with a blonde bob cut.

However, comments seem to be turning against her choice to embrace natural beauty, and her fans are standing by her side.
One person wrote on Twitter: "What happened to the Baywatch beauty?"
Someone else defended her, writing: "She stopped caring about what others think and began living life for herself."
Another added: "Age. I think she looks fantastic. Tell me how many 57-year-olds look better."

A user also criticized others for their negative remarks, posting: "Everyone tweeting 'What happened to Pamela Anderson'—time happened to her, and it will happen to EVERYONE of us!"
Another claimed she looks different, writing: "Yeah, I think this is more than just time. People say that's Pamela Anderson, but that woman doesn't look like her."
It seemed as if people were acting like the last couple of years were the first time the 57-year-old went makeup-free.

In fact, she is often seen without many beauty products in her documentary, Pamela, A Love Story, which was released back in January.
The documentary’s premise states: "In her own words, through personal video and diaries, Pamela Anderson shares the story of her rise to fame, turbulent romances, and infamous sex tape scandal."
Why did Pamela Anderson stop wearing makeup?
She has previously opened up about why she scaled back her typical bombshell makeup look, telling Elle Magazine in August that it followed a significant personal loss.

After losing her close friend and makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, to breast cancer in 2019, Anderson decided to leave her iconic look behind.
"She was the best," the mother-of-two shared. "And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s better for me not to wear makeup."
Anderson also expressed that abandoning the makeup look that catapulted her to fame was a welcome change, telling the outlet that the new experience was 'freeing, fun, and a little rebellious too'.
"I noticed there were all these people doing elaborate makeup looks, and it’s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite of what everyone’s doing," she explained.
During that same interview, the actress also discussed what it feels like to be 'getting older'.
She said: "I think we all start looking a little funny as we get older.
"And I find myself laughing when I look in the mirror. I go, 'Wow, this is really...what’s happening to me?' It’s a journey."
Perhaps Anderson will inspire a new trend of fresh faces on the red carpet.
